October 31 - KSCS News You Can Use!

Happy Sunday, KSCS Family!
I hope you all are enjoying this beautiful "fall" weather with your families! We are moving into the most wonderful season of the year - a time when the hearts of many are filled with thankfulness for God's blessings and there is a desire to share with those who are in need. In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, the Apostle Paul reminds us to "be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus." Thankfulness is a mindset - a lifestyle, if you will - that should dwell within everyone who has been ransomed by the Lord Jesus Christ. Life takes us through many winding turns and it's so easy to focus on the trials rather than the triumphs! But remember - we have been ransomed by Christ Jesus and belong to Him! That alone is reason to be filled with thankfulness! So I've decided to intentionally work on replacing the anxious, negative thoughts with a "Hallelujah, thank You Jesus for blessing me!" when the negative sneak into the corners of my mind. May we be wrapped up in gratitude and walk in the will of God!

- Bake sale (setup, supervise kids, etc)
- Fundraising Events (to assist with the planning and execution of our events)
- Advertising (contacting surrounding churches and community groups regarding events)
- Nap Supervision (for kindergarten)
- Story time (Kindergarten - first grade)
- Office support (making copies, filing, phone support, returning calls)
Please let me know what you would like to help with and we'll get you started right away!
BAPTISMS - December 18 (tentative)
December 18 is the tentative date for our students who are currently in baptismal class. We will finalize that date with the church board in two weeks.
If your student has expressed to you interest in getting baptized, they can still join the weekly Bible study classes conducted by Mr. Jim DeMasi on Wednesdays. Please continue to keep in prayer those students who are currently in baptismal studies!
Thank you for entrusting your precious children's education to us - it is an honor that we do not take lightly! We continue to solicit your prayers as we work to provide your student with the highest quality of education as we point them to Christ. We are always praying for you!
God bless,
