Happy Friday, Everyone!
Can you believe it - just three more weeks until the last day of school! While in some ways it feels like the year has just started, in other ways it certainly feels like we have come through a FULL year! Praise God for His mercies, power, and strength that enabled us to endure this school year!
By the way: NO UNIFORMS THIS WEEK!!
Spring Week of Prayer - Finish Strong 3!
This week marks our Spring Week of Prayer! On Monday & Friday, our local school will conduct our service, and on Tuesday-Thursday we will be joining students across the North American Division (NAD) of Seventh day Adventists for this special spiritual emphasis with world renowned speaker Ivor Myers. Please keep all of the students - KSCS as well as all of the other schools - in your prayers as we seek the Lord for this spiritual refreshing.

REMEMBER!! SATURDAY, May 7: KSCS will be conducting the church program at the Lewisville SPANISH SDA Church. We need you!!! Not only to bring your students, of course, but to also SUPPORT your students!

SPRING MAP TESTING IS HERE!!
WOW!! Overall, our students outperformed their national peers in Math & Science!! Mrs. Ermshar and I are super proud of them! This week, students will be testing in Reading & Language. To help prepare your students to do their best, please ensure that students:
Get 10-11 hours of sleep
Begin the day with prayer with their family, and are encouraged by their parents!
Eat a nutritious, protein-rich, low-sugar breakfast
Have low stress when they come into school in the morning (VERY IMPORTANT!)
Come to school with healthy snacks, as we will be taking frequent brain breaks
Have a healthy, rounded lunch
Are asked about their day and how well they did. They're working hard to please you, so please ask them about their progress!
REGISTRATION- Thank you to all who came out to our registration and dinner night! While I had hoped for more participation from the school family, we had a wonderful time fellowshipping with one another, and I hope to be able to do more of that! We cannot accept a student's registration without 1/4 of the $525 registration fee ($131.25) being paid at the time of registration. There is a $50 discount if the entire registration fee is paid in one payment by July 15. We are continuing to allow registration fees to be paid in 4 monthly installments:
$131.25 at the time of registration
$131.25 by May 30
$131.25 by June 30
$131.25 by July 30.
KSCS MOTHER'S DAY LUNCHEON

KINDERGARTEN & 8TH GRADE GRADUATION!
Friday, May 20th at 5:00pm is the big day for our kindergarten and 8th grade students - their graduation! It also marks a very special day for one of our 5th grade students, as she will also be getting baptized! Please mark this on your calendar and plan to come celebrate your students achieving this wondaful milestone and support our 5th grade student in deciding to follow Jesus!
SUMMER LEARNING - JUNE 20 - JULY 29 : We know that students suffer learning loss during the 3 months of summer break. To prevent learning loss, we will be offering a summer learning program for 6 weeks this summer at a very reasonable cost - only $40 per week per student. The summer program will be Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 12:00pm (1st-4th) and 1:00 - 4:00pm (5th-8th). Your student can attend 2, 3, or 5 days a week. We will also have on Tuesday & Thursday evenings:
Math in Music (1st-4th) from 5:00pm - 5:45pm
Math Fact Drills (2nd- 5th) from 4:15pm - 4:45pm
STEM/MATH Acceleration (5th-8th) from 6:00pm - 6:45pm
