Capital Campaign Begins

To create a learning environment of excellence, the school board votes to launch a new capital campaign to complete the building, add technology, and transportation.

In the May school board of KSCS it was voted to launch a new capital campaign to improve the building appearance, classroom designations, add technology, bring in new furniture conducive to 21st Century learning techniques, and add two 12-passenger vans.

The school of the next decade will emphasize technology and collaborative learning, and to be effective in both it was necessary to push forward with the needed changes now.

Raising the Funds

As the time of this post a gift of $25,000 was given to be matched by an anonymous donor to begin the launch or the campaign. It is intended the funds for the renovation would be received by August 1, 2019, in order for all renovations to be completed when school starts. As the other funds come in, ranked from importance starting at the bottom of the above graph, the items will be purchased and placed into the classrooms for immediate use.
